Mortality and morbidity are objective epidemiological indices that reflect state of diabetic aid in region

Material and methods: Data for 124 554 DM patients is contained in the DM register of Moscow region (MR) for 2004. Mortality is evaluated yearly.Results: Mortality as result of T1D was 1.92, and of T2D – 41.82 people for 100 thousand population.
